Job description
Overview

OKX is a leading crypto exchange and developer of OKX Wallet, enabling millions to access crypto trading and decentralized applications. We are guided by core principles and a diverse, fast-paced culture as we grow globally.

About The Opportunity: This isn’t your average HR role. You will be a strategic business partner, trusted advisor to leadership, and the architect of a thriving company culture. HR Business Partners (HRBPs) build trusted partnerships with business leaders and people managers to co-create people-centric business solutions that accelerate transformation and support OKX’s commercial goals and vision.

You will bring sound business and financial acumen to provide context to the HR team and collaborate with HR COEs to address current operational needs while aligning future people plans with the business strategy.

On a daily basis, HRBPs provide advice and coaching to managers on how to inspire, reward and develop teams, navigate employee relations conversations, ensure accurate compensation and commission management, improve the employee experience, and maximize the potential of our people and culture. At this stage of our transformation, you will also work closely with Talent Acquisition, learn modern recruitment strategies, and help win the war for talent to accelerate growth.

The Team

You will join a dynamic team of HR Business Partners dedicated to our Growth Center business. Together, you’ll support the global commercial business, driving sales, market share, and ambitious goals. We are a global, inclusive team that values diverse perspectives and experiences, operating in a fast-paced environment aligned with our rapid growth. You’ll collaborate with a world-class HR team focused on excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Partner with senior business leaders to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives as the organization grows and scales globally. Topics include performance management, organizational design, change management, compensation/commission management, and cultural integration.
  • Champion employee engagement and foster a positive, productive work environment for our global team.
  • Leverage data analytics to inform HR decisions and measure the impact of HR programs.
  • Provide trusted guidance and coaching to leaders at all levels to drive high-performing organizations.
  • Lead HR projects related to team success, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Manage all HR aspects for assigned business units, including partnership with Talent Acquisition, onboarding, and employee relations.
What We Look For In You
  • 7+ years of HR experience, with background as HR Business Partner, OD, C&B, and/or TD, ideally within a high-growth tech or financial services company.
  • Experience working with C-suite executives in commercial client groups preferred.
  • Data-centric with the ability to analyze HR data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strategic thinker who is also hands-on and capable of advising the business, not merely providing HR operational support.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Experience working effectively with global, remote teams across time zones.
  • Passionate about building and shaping company culture, fostering belonging and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in conversational Mandarin is a plus for interacting with internal stakeholders from Mandarin-speaking countries.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with performance management systems and compensation & benefits programs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to cryptocurrency.
  • A genuine passion for the cryptocurrency space and its potential to revolutionize finance.
Perks & Benefits
  • Competitive total compensation package
  • Learning and development programs and education subsidies for growth
  • Team building programs and company events
  • Wellness and meal allowances
  • Comprehensive healthcare for employees and dependents
