Senior Manager, Head of Middle East Communications

Role Description:

We are seeking a senior communications leader to drive a holistic communications program in the Middle East. The role involves engaging all internal and external audiences, including employees, customers, media, and partners, to help the business confidently tell its story.

Responsibilities:

1. Communications Strategy: Partner with international and global communications teams to develop and execute a strategy for the Middle East that enhances awareness and reputation for Salesforce across the market.

2. Strategic counsel and leadership: Sit on the Middle East Leadership Team, providing strategic communications counsel to the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Salesforce Middle East, and act as a primary escalation point for all communications issues.

3. Executive Communications: Oversee communication programs for regional leaders and senior executives, crafting authentic narratives and engagement initiatives.

4. Narrative and key message development: Build and promote the company narrative tailored for the Middle East, enabling teams to tell compelling stories that resonate locally, inspire customers, and foster brand loyalty.

5. Media relations: Manage media engagements and oversee the PR agency team.

6. Employee communications: Collaborate with the employee communications team to align programs with the Middle East Leadership Team's priorities.

7. Policy Communications: Work with Marketing, Government Affairs, Privacy, and Legal teams to develop thought leadership campaigns and engagement strategies.

8. Operations: Support budgeting, reporting, and global alignment processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. 10+ years of experience in internal and external communications roles

2. Strong relationships with business and technology media

3. Experience representing and engaging with industry organizations

4. Proven stakeholder management skills

5. Leadership skills and experience working across a matrix organization to implement strategies

6. Critical thinking skills and a collaborative attitude

7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and communicate priorities effectively
