The Ports Cluster, part of AD Ports Group, owns and operates 10 ports & terminals facilitating trade and building capacity whilst connecting Abu Dhabi globally. The cluster is focused on achieving sustainable growth, forging partnerships with local and global market leaders with the goal of diversifying and expanding capacity to meet the growing and diverse needs of customers while solidifying Abu Dhabi as a global trade and logistics hub.

Job Purpose

Responsible for financial planning and forecasting. Provides senior management and executives with the analysis and information (including but not limited to dashboards) with the necessity to make major operational, financial, and strategic decisions.

Core Responsibilities

• Ensure constant monitoring of budget assigned to the project with periodic reporting internally, as well as to government.
• Development of robust monthly reporting packages that provide for timely and reliable financial and operational information for internal decision-making processes, including analytics that accompany the project financial reports.
• Support Ports cluster management team and project team with overall understanding of project financial performance and planning.
• Support Project team with the execution of presentations where it involved financials.
• Volume and commercial analysis including reporting.
• Prepare forecasts working collaboratively with other workstreams.
• Interface with the Project team to provide financial planning and analysis service.
• Support any funding requirements from government.
• Act as financial lead for annual budget process / cycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's in finance. Masters preferred.
• High level of proficiency in English, Arabic is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years in port and shipping industry in Finance.
• Professional Certification such as CPA / CMA / ACCA / CA.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and time management skills.
• Advanced experience with financial modelling, including ability to develop scenario and sensitivity analysis using tools such as VBA, Macros etc.
• Experience in creating transparency of information through analytics, and data visualization methodologies and tools.
