Dubai Holding Hospitality Assets, an entity of Dubai Holding is looking to hire a Manager - Treasury and Insurance, reporting to the Associate Director – Treasury & Insurance. The role holder will be responsible for overseeing the group’s financial resources and insurance strategies, including managing financial assets, liabilities, and insurance activities. The role requires a results-driven finance professional with a proven track record in Treasury, Insurance, Cash Flow management, Forecasting and analysis within complex and fast-paced environments.

Key Accountabilities:
To help lead our Capital Expenditure (Capex) budgeting, forecasting and accounting processes, as well as oversee month-end closing activities, asset tagging, tracking, and fixed asset register (FAR) functions and special projects. This role is key to ensuring financial discipline, accurate reporting, and informed capital investment decisions across the organization.
Capex and financial reporting
• Partner with operations and project teams to evaluate Capex proposals, ensuring appropriate ROI and alignment with strategic goals.
• Lead the preparation, consolidation and analysis of monthly and annual Capex budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor Capex spend against budgets, ensuring accurate reporting and policy compliance.
• Manage all Capex related month-end close activities.
• Serve as a key liaison between Finance, IT, Procurement, and Operations to drive process improvements, including system implementations.
• Review monthly management reporting packs to ensure accuracy of financials.
• Support with financial accounting and statutory reporting tasks, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
Business partnering and projects
• Work closely with Shared Service teams to review deliverables.
• Review compliance of Shared Service activities against service level agreements.
• Finance business partnering to provide asset managers and hotel teams financial guidance.
• Actively participate and lead finance related special projects.
Asset tagging and tracking
• Maintain the group-wide asset tagging and tracking policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee tagging of new assets across all business units and locations.
• Ensure consistent application of asset classification, identification, and coding standards.
• Lead periodic physical verification and inventory of assets.
FAR management
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date fixed asset registers.
• Oversee asset additions, disposals, transfers, revaluations, and depreciation in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and audit trail of all transactions within the FAR.
• Help formulate departmental finance strategies and objectives.
Who we are looking for:
Experience: 7+ years in financial accounting/control roles, preferably in hospitality, real estate, or large organizations; Big 4 background is a plus.
Education & Certification: Bachelor’s or master’s in finance, accounting, or related field; ACA or CIMA preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong IFRS and consolidation knowledge; familiarity with USALI, Oracle ERP, Hyperion, and advanced Excel.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and manage consultants; strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Analytical & Planning: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management capabilities.
Behavioral Traits: Results-driven, adaptable, team-oriented, with the ability to perform under pressure and travel internationally.
