Job summary

Auxilium Services in Dubai is seeking a Senior Manager – Finance & Commercial to lead financial planning, modelling, budgeting and governance for a government entity. You will oversee IFRS reporting, compliance, treasury, and finance transformation, interfacing with leadership and boards.

The role requires 14–15+ years of experience, a professional qualification, and deep UAE exposure, plus strong Excel and MIS capabilities.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/CFA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Approximately 14–15+ years of progressive finance experience.
• Strong UAE experience, preferably at Senior Manager/Director level.
• Proven expertise in financial modelling, business cases, scenario analysis and long-term financial planning.
• Budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial performance analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS-based financial reporting.
• Exposure to statutory/internal audit, regulatory compliance and financial controls.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Experience developing finance policies, procedures, governance frameworks and Delegation of Authority.
• Treasury, liquidity planning, cash-flow management and banking relationships.
• ERP/finance system implementations, finance transformation and process re-engineering.
• MIS reporting, automation and process improvement.
• Preparing financial reports and insights for senior leadership, shareholders or boards.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.

Auxilium Services is currently supporting a leading government entity in Dubai with the appointment of an experienced Senior Manager – Finance & Commercial.

We are looking for a senior finance professional with strong UAE experience and a proven background across financial planning, financial modelling, budgeting & forecasting, commercial finance, governance, financial reporting, compliance, treasury and finance transformation.

Key Requirements:

• CA / CPA / CFA or equivalent professional qualification
• Approximately 14–15+ years of progressive finance experience
• Strong UAE experience, preferably at Senior Manager, Financial Controller, Head of Finance or Director level
• Proven expertise in financial modelling, business cases, scenario analysis and long-term financial planning
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial performance analysis
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS-based financial reporting
• Exposure to statutory/internal audit, regulatory compliance and financial controls
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax
• Experience developing finance policies, procedures, governance frameworks and Delegation of Authority

Additional Advantage:

• Experience within Energy, Infrastructure, Contracting, Project Finance or other project-based environments would be highly advantageous.

This is an initial 12-month contractual assignment with the potential to transition into a permanent opportunity, subject to performance and business requirements.
