Position Overview

Senior Manager External Communications - Press Office leads media engagement and press office activities to strengthen corporate reputation, brand trust, and visibility across key stakeholders. This role develops clear, consistent, and compelling narratives aligned with Majid Al Futtaim's strategy, values, and business priorities, while advising senior leaders and managing high‑impact media relationships in a dynamic, high‑profile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Position, promote, and protect the Majid Al Futtaim brand and reputation through proactive and reactive media engagement.
• Partner with the wider Corporate Communications team to co‑develop and deliver integrated external communications and engagement plans aligned with organisational reputation goals.
• Build strong cross‑functional relationships to ensure messaging consistency and an integrated approach that supports the Group's strategic ambitions.
• Provide counsel and guidance to senior stakeholders, ensuring all media and external communications align with corporate communications strategy, objectives, policies, and brand guidelines.
• Support and participate in rapid response and crisis communications teams to manage reputational challenges, market developments, or sensitive issues effectively.
• Maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and international media, ensuring timely, accurate, and impactful press coverage.
• Stay informed on industry best practices, emerging media trends, and new technologies to enhance communications effectiveness and employee engagement.
• Ensure all communications adhere strictly to company policies, brand standards, and applicable content guidelines.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Media and Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in external communications, press office, journalism, or agency/in‑house communications roles.
