Job summary

Grant Thornton UAE is seeking a Senior Manager to support audit strategy, manage portfolios, oversee teams, and act as a primary client contact. The role emphasizes business development, leadership, and driving strategic initiatives to elevate client service and industry standards.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, mentor staff, and lead large, complex audits while expanding the firm’s presence across the UAE.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of External Audit experience in a top international firm.
• Professionally qualified (ACA, CPA, ACCA).
• Extensive post-qualification audit experience, with diverse client exposure.
• Confident in IFRS, internal controls, and consolidation of financial statements.
• Experience on complex audits and delegating workloads effectively.
• Comfortable using audit software and Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities

• Working strategically with the leadership team to drive the growth of the business.
• Developing a strong internal and external network to support business development.
• Taking responsibility in managing a key client portfolio; building and maintaining strong working relationships.
• Leading on dealing with large, technically complex clients.
• Supporting the Audit Partner in the running of the team.
• Negotiating client fees per engagement as appropriate.
• Involved in the interview process for new hires joining the team.
