Job summary

Grant Thornton UAE in Dubai is seeking a Manager to support senior colleagues in audit strategy, manage a portfolio of clients, and lead a team of Senior Associates and Associates. You will be a key client contact and help drive business development and quality assurance.

As part of the Audit & Assurance practice, you will oversee planning, resourcing, and delivering high-quality audit services for diverse industries, ensuring timely, profitable work and adherence to professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Leading on audit reviews, agreeing audit timetables, briefing the audit team and monitoring budgets
• Ensuring that all work allocated is done profitably and timely in accordance with the firm's professional standards and to the satisfaction of clients and engagement partners.
• Managing, motivating, and coaching team members and providing feedback through regular communication
• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients in different industries and markets
• Assisting the Audit Partner in establishing audit objectives and overall scope
• Planning and coordinating all aspects of audit planning, including resourcing requirements
• Checking that audit work papers are properly reviewed and that audit files are completed in a timely manner
• Finalising draft reports for management
