Job summary

Client of Aventus Global Talent is seeking a Dubai-based Senior Manager, Corporate Credit to lead wholesale credit assessment and underwriting for corporate and commercial banking clients. You will analyse complex financials, build cash flow models, and present independent credit recommendations in line with risk policy.

Responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end credit approvals, covenant analysis, and documentation reviews while coordinating with Relationship Management, Risk, and Credit

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of wholesale credit experience.
• Strong background in credit underwriting and risk assessment.
• Deep financial statement analysis and credit structuring knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead credit assessment and underwriting of wholesale lending transactions across corporate and commercial clients.
• Review and analyse complex credit proposals with financial analysis and cash flow modelling.
• Provide independent credit recommendations and ensure alignment with risk appetite and policies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the credit assessment and underwriting of wholesale lending transactions across corporate and commercial banking clientsReview and analyse complex credit proposals, including financial analysis, cash flow modelling, and industry risk assessmentProvide independent credit recommendations and ensure alignment with the bank s risk appetite and credit policiesOversee end-to-end credit approval processes, including structuring, documentation review, and covenant analysisMonitor existing wholesale credit exposures and proactively identify emerging risks or early warning indicatorsPartner closely with Relationship Management, Risk, and Credit Committees to support sound lending decisions and portfolio quality

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

7 10+ years of experience in wholesale credit, corporate banking, or credit risk within banking or financial servicesStrong background in credit underwriting, with proven experience assessing large corporate and/or SME lending transactionsDeep understanding of financial statement analysis, credit structuring, and risk assessment techniquesExperience working within credit approval processes and presenting to credit committeesStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and front-office teamsStrong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and sound commercial judgement
