What You'll Do :

As a Senior Manager, Business Development at VentureOne, you will be the driving force behind our growth not only in Abu Dhabi but on a global scale. Your key responsibilities will include :

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and Execute Commercialization Strategies : Formulate and implement strategies for transforming technologies from research labs into market-ready products, licenses, or services.
• Conduct Market Analysis and Business Case Preparation : Carry out market analysis and prepare comprehensive business cases, which include pricing and commercial strategies.
• Identify and Engage Potential Customers : Locate potential customers, present them with tailored proposals, and engage in discussions to establish business relationships.
• Close Commercial Deals : Successfully negotiate and finalize commercial agreements with interested parties.
• Represent the Company at Industry Events : Act as a representative of the company in various industry events and networking opportunities, enhancing brand visibility and forging new connections.
• Collaborate with Research Teams : Maintain a supportive role in working with research teams to understand the technical aspects and potential applications of new technologies.

Candidate Profile :

• Exceptional Consulting Experience : Demonstrated expertise in consulting, with a specific focus on technology and digital practices within industrial sectors. A history of working with leading consulting firms is highly desirable.
• Engineering Acumen : A strong engineering background, preferably with a degree from a renowned institution, to deeply understand and navigate complex technologies, discerning their market applications and potential pathways to commercialization.
• Outstanding Analytical and Strategic Abilities : Exceptional analytical and strategic planning skills, underpinned by a record of high-impact project delivery across diverse sectors. We value candidates who have showcased their ability to solve complex problems and drive strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
• Leadership in Project Delivery : A proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale projects, demonstrating an ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and drive successful outcomes in line with client expectations and business objectives.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Electronic, Aerospace, Systems, or Computer Science are sought.
• An MBA from a Top 20 business school is a strong plus.
• Commercially astute.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated learning agility and a deep passion for technologies; essential for understanding and commercializing various cutting-edge technologies from different research domains.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit, thrive in a start-up work environment, and adapt effectively to ambiguity and dynamic market opportunities.
• Knowledge of the UAE market and cultural nuances.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a strong plus.
