Job summary

• Experience supporting projects through full lifecycle from design to operations.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is advantageous.

About the Role

As Senior Manager BIM, you will play a critical role in driving digital innovation across Miral's development portfolio.

Working at the intersection of design, technology, construction, and operations, you will lead the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM), Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), and digital information management strategies that support the successful delivery of world-class destinations and immersive experiences.

This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality, governance, integration, and lifecycle management of digital information from concept design through construction, handover, and asset operations, helping to enhance project outcomes, operational readiness, and long-term asset performance.

Key Responsibilities

BIM & Digital Information Leadership

• Lead the implementation of BIM, VDC, and digital information management requirements across Miral's development projects.
• Drive the consistent application of digital delivery standards, workflows, and governance frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to enhance coordination, efficiency, quality, and project outcomes through innovative digital solutions.

Digital Delivery & Information Governance

• Drive continuous improvement of BIM standards, classifications, templates, and information management processes across the portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 requirements, industry best practices, and Miral's digital delivery standards.
• Lead BIM reviews, model audits, compliance assessments, and digital performance reporting.
• Monitor information quality, model progression, and project compliance throughout the development lifecycle.

Design Integration & Project Enablement

• Support the integration of BIM requirements into project briefs, procurement packages, design deliverables, and consultant scopes.
• Review BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), delivery schedules, information requirements, and digital workflows.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary coordination across Development Design, Development, Delivery, Digital & Technology, and Asset Management teams.
• Drive collaboration and information exchange across all project stakeholders using Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms and digital tools.

BIM Coordination & Technical Excellence

• Lead BIM-enabled design reviews and multidisciplinary coordination activities.
• Review federated models to identify clashes, coordination challenges, and information gaps.
• Support project teams in improving model quality, design coordination, and digital delivery performance.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and digital insights that support informed decision-making and project visibility.

Asset Information & Digital Twin Readiness

• Partner with Asset Management, operators, and project teams to define and deliver asset information requirements.
• Oversee the development and validation of digital asset information, COBie data, asset registers, and as-built deliverables.
• Support digital handover processes and ensure readiness for facilities management and operational platforms.
• Contribute to Miral's future digital capabilities, digital twin readiness, and long-term asset lifecycle management strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement

• Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, operators, technology partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Promote BIM adoption and digital best practices across the business.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry innovations that can enhance project delivery and operational outcomes.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and digital excellence across the portfolio.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Digital Engineering, Information Management, or a related discipline.
• 10-12 years of progressive experience in BIM, VDC, Digital Engineering, or Information Management.
• Proven experience delivering BIM and digital information management across large-scale, multidisciplinary development projects.
• Strong knowledge of BIM methodologies, BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Common Data Environments (CDEs), information governance, and ISO 19650 standards.
• Experience supporting projects throughout the full lifecycle, from concept design and construction through commissioning, handover, and operations.
• Strong background in model coordination, design reviews, digital quality assurance, and information management.
• Experience within destinations, attractions, theme parks, hospitality, entertainment, mixed-use developments, or other complex asset environments is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with industry-standard platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Solibri, ProjectWise, Aconex, or equivalent technologies.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional BIM or related certifications are advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required. Arabic language capability is advantageous.
