The Senior Manager Advisory is responsible for delivering high-quality investment advisory services to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), institutional investors, and corporate clients. The job requires strong expertise in financial markets, client relationship management, and investment strategy development. The Senior Manager plays a key role in managing client portfolios, advising on investment opportunities, and ensuring that client objectives align with market conditions and regulatory requirements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a trusted advisor to HNWIs, institutional investors, and corporate clients, understanding their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
- Develop and implement tailored investment strategies to help clients achieve their objectives while managing risk effectively.
- Provide proactive investment recommendations based on market trends, economic indicators, and portfolio performance analysis.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews with clients, ensuring they are informed about their investment positions and market opportunities.
- Respond to client inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided while maintaining the highest service standards.
- Collaborate with the internal investment team to research and analyse financial markets, asset classes, and investment products.
- Assess portfolio performance and recommend necessary adjustments to optimize returns while mitigating risk exposure.
- Stay up to date with macroeconomic trends, geopolitical risks, and regulatory changes to guide investment strategies effectively.
- Evaluate new investment products and asset classes, presenting relevant opportunities to clients.
- Ensure adherence to investment policies, risk management protocols, and compliance standards.
- Identify opportunities to expand the advisory client base through referrals, industry networking, and market outreach.
- Develop strong relationships with external stakeholders, including fund managers, financial analysts, and regulatory bodies.
- Support business development initiatives by preparing client proposals, pitch presentations, and investment reports.
- Represent the firm at client meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote advisory services and expand market presence.
- Ensure all advisory services comply with financial regulations, company policies, and ethical investment practices.
- Work closely with compliance teams to mitigate risks associated with investment decisions and client transactions.
- Oversee the execution of client transactions, including account openings, transfers, and withdrawals, ensuring smooth operations.
- Implement best practices in reporting, documentation, and client communication to enhance transparency and efficiency.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior advisory team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Assist in training programs to enhance the investment knowledge and skills of the advisory team.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic initiatives aimed at improving advisory services and operational efficiencies.
- Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.
- Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.
QUALIFICATION
- A minimum of 7-10 years working experience in investment advisory, wealth management, or client relationship management in financial services.
- Proven track record of managing client portfolios, providing investment recommendations, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or professional certifications such as CFA, CFP, or similar are preferred.
