Job description

The Senior Manager - Account Development is responsible for leading strategic growth and retention initiatives across key client accounts. This role focuses on strengthening relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and aligning solutions to client needs. Working within the UAE's dynamic commercial environment, the senior manager collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction, contract renewals, and overall account profitability.

Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and executing account development strategies to drive growth, retention, and customer satisfaction across key accounts.
  2. Building strong relationships with client decision-makers to understand business objectives and provide tailored solutions.
  3. Leading strategic reviews, presentations, and negotiations with clients to secure renewals and upsell opportunities.
  4. Collaborating with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure consistent service delivery and alignment with client expectations.
  5. Monitoring account performance metrics, conducting business reviews, and identifying areas for improvement.
  6. Guiding a team of account managers or executives to ensure proactive client engagement and issue resolution.
  7. Staying informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market changes to identify growth opportunities.
  8. Ensuring compliance with internal policies, UAE business regulations, and contractual obligations.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in account management, client services, or business development, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  3. Proven track record of managing large, strategic accounts and achieving revenue growth targets.
  4. Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  5. Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with attention to detail.
  6. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data analysis platforms.
  7. Deep understanding of the UAE business landscape and client expectations in B2B environments.
  8. Leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team.
