Job summary
WeSource is hiring an experienced Senior Video Technician to support events, exhibitions, and live-production projects in Dubai. The role involves installing, configuring, operating, and troubleshooting professional video systems while supervising technical teams and ensuring the smooth delivery of indoor and outdoor events.
Candidates should have proven experience with LED displays, projection systems, video processors, and media servers, plus AutoCAD and strong computer skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with professional video systems and live events.
- LED displays, projection systems, video processing, and media servers.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Good computer skills and Microsoft Office.
- Minimum high school education; relevant training preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work six days per week, including weekends and public holidays when required.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and operate professional video systems for events and live productions
- Manage LED screens, projection systems, video processors, switchers, and media servers
- Lead video setup, testing, commissioning, and dismantling activities
- Troubleshoot technical issues during rehearsals and live events
- Supervise and guide Video Technicians, freelancers, and contractors
- Coordinate event requirements with Technical Production and Project Managers
- Maintain equipment, inventory records, and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and technical standards
- Support indoor and outdoor events, including required site visits
