Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in Abu Dhabi seeks a highly safety‑conscious Lifting Engineer to design, review and supervise critical lifting operations. You will develop lifting plans, evaluate rigging stress and ensure compliance with international standards and local regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering, 5+ years in heavy lifting, and proficiency in AutoCAD 3D rigging layouts and load‑sharing calculations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
• LEEA Certified or equivalent Appointed Person for Lifting Operations.
• 5+ years in heavy lifting, rigging, and crane operations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 3D rigging layouts and CG calculations.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed rigging and lifting plans using CAD and simulation tools.
• Perform JSA and RA prior to lifting operations.
• Oversee inspection, testing and certification of lifting equipment.
• Supervise lifting operations on-site as technical lead.
• Calculate loads and select crane capacities and configurations.
• Ensure compliance with LEEA, ASME, LOLER and local regs.
