Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years librarian experience.
• Knowledge of cataloguing, classification and filing systems.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage, organize and develop library services in El-Ain.
• Cataloguing, classifying and filing books; maintain databases.
• Assist patrons; manage circulation; issue library cards.
• Train new staff; create bibliographic databases.
• Update the collection with new materials; respond to references.
• Maintain records of library use and keep materials clean.
