Job summary

Yellow Door Energy, a leading sustainable energy partner, seeks a Senior Legal Counsel in Dubai to support renewable energy projects, development contracts, and transactional work. The role handles PPAs, EPC, and O&M agreements, advises on risk and corporate matters, and coordinates with external counsel to drive project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law with a professional qualification (solicitor, barrister, attorney, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification legal experience.
• Strong background in renewable energy, power, infrastructure, or construction law.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts (PPAs, EPC, O&M).
• Excellent written and spoken English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate project agreements including PPAs, solar leases, EPC, and supply contracts.
• Advise on project development, risk allocation, and transaction execution.
• Support corporate matters including M&A, joint ventures, financing, and restructuring.
• Manage external counsel and provide legal input on regulatory matters.
• Improve internal legal templates, processes, and playbooks.
