If you're a projects / project finance lawyer, and you're looking for an in-house role, you should keep reading.

What you'll be doing:

In general, you'll be asset managing an extensive and existing portfolio of infrastructure projects, whilst ushering in the new. This will see you working closely with outside counsel, project developers, financiers and backers, government entities, plus all your internal clients.

Who you'll likely need to be, in order to succeed:

Whilst there is a degree of flexibility, there are some core guidelines that make the backbone of the client expectations:

  • You'll need to have trained and qualified with an international standard law firm or multinational corporate.
  • A PQE of 7+ would be ideal and likely no more than 12 PQE in order to fit into the team structure.
  • Skill set is very important and ideal candidates will be able to offer a mix of projects, infrastructure and project finance work.
  • Ideally you will be based in the Middle East right now, though strong overseas applicants can also be considered.
