Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial (Dubai)

If you're an experienced commercial contracts lawyer with a background in real estate or construction , this is a standout opportunity to step into a senior in-house role at a global business headquartered in the UAE.

We're working with a well-established multinational to help them hire a Senior Legal Counsel for their MENA legal team. Based in Dubai, you'll partner closely with leadership across the region on complex commercial agreements, regulatory matters, and strategic business initiatives. The legal team is highly integrated with operations, offering direct exposure to decision-making and a genuine voice at the table.

What you'll be doing :

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of high-value commercial contracts (services, construction, leasing, supply, and more)

Supporting the roll-out of new business lines and regional expansion projects

Advising on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and local licensing

Working cross-functionally with finance, operations, and senior leadership

Managing external counsel and acting as a key legal contact for EMEA

Supporting policy rollout, template management, and regional legal standards

Handling ad hoc disputes, insurance claims, and entity-level matters

Who we’re looking for :

6+ years’ post-qualified experience (UAE or broader MENA strongly preferred)

Strong grounding in commercial contracts with exposure to real estate or construction law

Experience in a top-tier law firm and / or in-house legal team

Fluent English (Arabic a strong plus)

Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
