Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient is seeking a Legal & Compliance Counsel to deliver comprehensive legal, compliance, and data privacy support across multiple entities and jurisdictions in Dubai. The role includes drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements and implementing governance and regulatory frameworks.

The position requires a law degree with 6+ years' experience in a multinational corporation, strong contract law background, and fluency in English; French or Arabic is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Law degree with 6+ years' experience in a multinational corporation.
• Strong background in contract law, compliance frameworks, and data privacy regulations.
• Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in French or Arabic is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements (customer, supplier, service provider, subcontracting, and public tenders).
• Implement and monitor compliance and regulatory frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and manage training and investigations.
• Act as the Data Privacy Officer, manage data subject requests, coordinate with authorities and breach handling.
