Job description

Purpose of the Job

The Sr. Leasing Executive is responsible for supporting the leasing operations of a real estate property or portfolio, working closely with the Sr. Leasing Manager, tenants, and leasing agents to ensure optimal occupancy levels and maximize rental income. This role involves executing leasing strategies, managing leasing agents, maintaining lead tracker, and negotiating lease agreements when required. They also play a key role in supporting the Leasing Executives to build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and prospective clients to ensure long-term retention and satisfaction.

In addition to leasing duties, this role involves performing key administrative tasks with a focus on accuracy, including ensuring that property master lists align with the Oracle Fusion system, maintaining shared folders, submitting tenant files for legal action where applicable, and ensuring the proper filing of documents. The Sr. Leasing Executive is responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of documents and reports submitted to Sr. Leasing Manager & management for signatures and coordinating the distribution of lease-related documents such as contracts, receipts, and other necessary paperwork.

The position also requires thorough review of lease contracts, renewals and NOCs for accuracy, and working with governmental portals for lease registration. The Sr. Leasing Executive collaborates closely with the accounts team to manage cheques, process refunds (including security deposits), and ensures organized financial records are presented from the Leasing team at all times. Communication with applicants, tenants, and third parties is critical, and the Assistant Leasing Manager ensures professionalism and transparency in all interactions while upholding confidentiality at all times. Additionally, they are responsible for coordinating with the Leasing Execs & FM for move-ins, move-outs, and unit inspections to ensure seamless transitions for tenants.

Qualifications & Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Real Estate, or related field.

Experience

Over 3 years of overall experience with 2 years in property leasing and tenant relation management in the industry in property coordinator role.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Advanced-level Microsoft Office
  • Third-party portal usage such as Ejari, DREC, and MOHRE Level (advantage)
  • English Language
  • Arabic Language (advantage)
  • Proven experience in leasing management or real estate sales, with a track record of achieving leasing targets and maximizing rental income.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of leasing laws, regulations, and market trends.
  • Proficiency in property management software and leasing management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in lease documentation and record-keeping.
