Job summary

Al Sondos Holding is seeking a detail-oriented Lease Accountant to manage review and entry of lease agreements, rent schedules, and reconciliations within our property accounting framework. The role requires a strong background in accounting or finance, proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and experience with lease-related GL accounts and audits in a corporate setting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is essential; Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA or CMA certifications are highly desirable.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is crucial for efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in review and entry of lease agreements, amendments, and terminations into accounting and lease management systems.
• Support monthly lease accounting activities, including preparing schedules for rent payments and property tax reconciliations.
• Track and process rent payments, security deposits, lease incentives, and other lease‑related financial transactions.
• Process the Ejari for tenants.
• Reconcile lease‑related general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with tenant billing, collections, and AR follow-ups, including reporting delinquencies.
• Maintain filing systems for lease documents and financial statements.
• Prepare reports and summaries of lease obligations and tenant ledgers for internal use.
• Provide audit support by gathering lease documentation and data.
