Job description

Learning Development Manager

The Learning Development Manager designs, implements, and manages learning and development programs. Their role is to promote employee growth and ensure they have the skills to excel. They create impactful training initiatives to contribute to organizational success.

The role is to be based in Abu Dhabi UAE.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop effective training programs: Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs, create learning objectives, and design engaging and interactive training programs.
  2. Implement learning and development initiatives: Plan, coordinate, and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars to employees at various levels and departments.
  3. Evaluate training effectiveness: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of training programs, collecting feedback from participants and stakeholders to measure the impact and effectiveness of the initiatives.
  4. Develop learning materials and resources: Create and update training materials, including presentations, handouts, online modules, and multimedia content, ensuring they are up-to-date, relevant, and engaging.
  5. Utilize technology for learning: Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning platforms to deliver online training modules and track employee progress and completion.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Continuously research and stay informed about the latest learning and development trends, methodologies, and technologies to ensure training programs are innovative and effective.
  7. Collaborate with stakeholders: Partner with department managers, HR professionals, and other key stakeholders to identify skill gaps, align training programs with organizational goals, and ensure training needs are met.
  8. Mentor and coach employees: Provide guidance and support to employees seeking professional development opportunities, offering advice on career paths and recommending relevant training programs.
  9. Budget management: Develop and manage the learning and development budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  10. Compliance and reporting: Ensure training programs comply with industry regulations and standards. Generate reports and metrics to track and measure the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives.
