Job summary

Bureau Veritas UAE is seeking a Sr. Lead Auditor to manage end-to-end ISO certification audits within our Certification Department. You will report to the Operations Lead UAE and Certification manager, coordinating with cross-functional teams and customers.

Expectations include extensive experience in IMS/QHSE/BCMS audits for marine, oil and gas clients, maintaining audit integrity, and adhering to HSE standards. Fluency in English is essential, Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• External audits per ISO standards including planning, conducting, and certificate cycle execution.
• Qualified auditor for QHSE, BCMS, EnMS/AMS (preferred).
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Audit, client management and required certification activities (opening, closing, report submission).
• Coordinate with and manage key clients and the organization.
• Supervise and collaborate with other auditors and teams; ensure audits are impartial and COI-free.

Position Details

• Position: Sr. Lead Auditor
• Office / Department: Certification Department
• Reporting to: Operations Lead UAE and Certification manager
• Key Working Relationship:
  • Certification Manager
  • Technical Manager
  • Operations Lead
  • Other Sr. Lead auditors and auditors.
  • Sales team, technical team, RCL, ICC & TIQ.
  • BU Heads, cross functional teams (technical teams and other BUs)
  • Customers / Clients / Project Management Consultants

Minimum Required Qualifications

Specialty

External audits in accordance with ISO standards including Planning, Conducting, and Executing complete certificate cycle. Qualified auditor for

• QHSE
• BCMS
• EnMS and AMS (preferred)
• Fluency in English and Arabic Knowledge Added advantage

Experience

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in successfully Executing, planning and completing audits for IMS/ QHSE/ BCMS for marine, Oil and Gas clients.

• Manage client expectations and provide regular updates for audits, NCR Management and report completion.
• Manage Technical query and report completion as per the technical requirements
• Ensure high level of client satisfaction.

• Conducting audit Impartially and without any COI, covering the audits with integrity.
• Following and Completing field and travel related HSE requirements.
• Conducting audits as per Accreditation and requirements
• Track, Manage and communicate the plan and schedules
