Job summary

WSP in the Middle East seeks an experienced Landscape Architect to supervise landscape construction on major UAE infrastructure projects. You will ensure design intent, quality standards, and client requirements are met on-site.

The role emphasizes site supervision, coordination with roads, utilities, and civil teams, and review of materials, irrigation, and hardscape works to support project progress and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in landscape architecture and site supervision.
• Mandatory UAE experience on transportation, roads, highways, infrastructure, and utility projects.
• Strong consultancy-side construction supervision experience is essential.
• Proven experience supervising landscape and irrigation works on infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise landscape construction works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Monitor contractor performance and workmanship related to landscape installations.
• Review and verify materials, planting specifications, irrigation systems, hardscape elements, and associated landscape works.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare inspection reports, snagging lists, and progress assessments.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary supervision teams including roads, utilities, civil, and infrastructure engineers.
• Ensure landscape works are executed in accordance with project schedules, quality requirements, and health and safety standards.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals related to landscape works.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and provide recommendations to maintain project progress.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Support project closeout activities, testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
