Job summary
Allocation Assist Middle East seeks an experienced Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon in Abu Dhabi to lead management of soft tissue knee conditions, with emphasis on ligament, meniscal and cartilage injuries. The role involves advanced knee arthroscopy, reconstructions, postoperative care, teaching residents, and contributing to research while coordinating with sports medicine and rehabilitation teams.
A valid DoH Abu Dhabi license or eligibility is required; board-certified or equivalent consultant
Qualifications
- Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
- Recognized postgraduate training in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Board certification/Consultant qualification in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Fellowship in Soft Tissue Knee / Knee Surgery / Arthroscopy desirable.
- Valid DoH Abu Dhabi license/eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
Responsibilities
- Provide consultant-level assessment and management of knee disorders.
- Perform advanced knee procedures, including arthroscopy and reconstructions.
- Coordinate rehabilitation and return-to-sport programs.
- Teach residents and supervise junior physicians.
- Contribute to clinical research, audits and service development.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
