Job summary

Egmont IT is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep Java expertise to design and deliver large-scale, enterprise-grade applications. You will work across core Java, J2EE, and Spring-based platforms, contributing to RESTful services, microservices, and scalable architectures.

The role requires hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, NoSQL databases, and TDD-driven development, operating within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Core Java.
• Experience with J2EE (Maven, Spring, Hibernate) in building multi-threaded, high-performance applications.
• Strong understanding of REST architectural style, RESTful APIs, and RESTful web services.
• Experience with the core Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
• Good knowledge of databases and PL/SQL.
• Experience building mission-critical applications on a microservices architecture.
• Software development using a TDD approach.
• Experience with NoSQL database technologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient with code versioning tools such as Git.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum processes and practices.
• Strong communication skills.
