Job summary

VaporVM is seeking an experienced Software Architect – Java to design high-performance, scalable, and secure software solutions. You will own the technical architecture, guide teams, define best practices, and ensure applications meet business needs while maintaining robustness and security.

You will lead technology stack decisions, design microservices, RESTful APIs, and integration using Camel, Kafka, RabbitMQ; oversee CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and deployment to Tomcat/JBoss; mentor developers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT.
• 8–10 years of experience in application architecture design and technology stacks.
• 3–5 years specifically in application architecture design (foundation, functional, technical).
• 5–6 years in Java full stack enterprise development using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.

Responsibilities

• Design high-availability, scalable, and secure architectures.
• Own the application architecture for foundational, functional, and technical layers.
• Lead architecture decisions and mentor developers on standards and design principles.
• Ensure CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices are followed.
