Job summary

Aventus Global seeks an experienced Senior Java Developer in Dubai to own and scale a Java/Spring Boot microservices stack. You will optimize PostgreSQL designs, implement Redis caching strategies, and drive low-latency, fault-tolerant backend systems in a high-throughput enterprise setting.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of Java/Spring Boot experience, strong database tuning skills, and immediate UAE-based availability for an onsite 6-month contract in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on Java/Spring Boot development experience.
• Deep PostgreSQL database administration and query tuning.
• Extensive Redis caching implementation experience.
• Proven ability to scale live production systems and reduce DB load.
• Strong RCA, debugging, and testing discipline.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile workflows.
• Immediate onsite availability in Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy Java/Spring Boot microservices in production.
• Optimize PostgreSQL schema, indexing and complex queries.
• Develop and enforce Redis caching strategies and TTL policies.
• Lead performance improvements and scaling for high-traffic systems.
• Perform RCA for operational incidents and drive fixes.
• Create robust RESTful APIs with high concurrency and low latency.
• Write unit and integration tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and product teams in Dubai
