Job summary

Caliberly's client is building a modern cross-border payments and financial infrastructure platform for banks and financial institutions. We seek a Senior Back-End Java Developer (5+ years) to design and implement core services with Java 11+, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.

You will own services end-to-end, drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, QA, DevOps and frontend teams to ensure scalability, security, and reliability in mission‑critical systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of back-end Java development
• Proficient with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
• Experience with microservices, service discovery, resilience
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL/MySQL; NoSQL familiarity
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
• CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Security, performance, and scalability focus in financial systems
• Leadership: code reviews, mentoring, architecture collaboration
