Job summary

ATRIBS METSCON Group in Dubai is seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance enterprise applications for the banking and financial services sector.

You will work on scalable microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems using Spring Boot and Apache Kafka, collaborating with architects and product teams to deliver secure, reliable systems for high transaction volumes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and RESTful API design and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications.
• Build and implement microservices architectures using Spring Boot.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services for enterprise applications.
• Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and bottlenecks.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce software engineering best practices.
• Support CI/CD initiatives and maintain technical documentation.
