Job summary

Sperton is seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer for on-site in Dubai. The role focuses on backend architecture, building high-performance Java Spring Boot microservices, and owning end-to-end design in large-scale distributed systems.

You will drive architecture decisions, optimize performance, and work with Redis, Kafka, and cloud-native deployments. The position requires 8 years of experience and on-site Dubai availability.

Qualifications

• 8 years of backend Java experience with Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of microservices and architecture.
• Experience with cloud-native deployments and containers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
• Own system architecture decisions and end-to-end design.
• Write high-performance code for large data challenges.
• Implement caching strategies and low-latency data pipelines (Redis).
• Develop and deploy containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Lead technical direction on projects including system design and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
