Job summary

Client of Discovered MENA in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Backend Java Developer to join our onsite team. You will design and implement scalable backend services in Java, with emphasis on performance and reliability. Relocation is required.

The role leverages C experience for cross-language integration and requires strong CI/CD knowledge with GitLab and Docker, plus familiarity with Akka and Kotlin. A Bachelor's degree in CS or related field is expected, with 8+ years of backend experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend development with Java.
• Proven expertise in C for systems integration.
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitLab and Docker.
• Familiarity with Gradle, Akka, and Kotlin is a plus.
• Experience with TDD and DDD is a plus.
