DISCOVERED is seeking a Senior Backend Developer in Abu Dhabi to own complex software solutions. The role focuses on Java backend development with strong C# interoperability, emphasizing scalable architectures and high performance.

You will design and implement with Domain-Driven Design, Reactive Programming, and modern CI/CD practices, while collaborating in an Agile team to deliver robust systems. A Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience are required to qualify.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional backend development experience using Java.
• Proven expertise in C#, especially in systems integration or full-stack environments.
• Strong understanding of functional programming, Reactive Programming, and message-based communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize backend systems using Java for scalable, high-performance architectures.
• Leverage C# experience to integrate with existing systems and enable interoperability between Java and C# platforms.
• Implement Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Reactive Programming, and robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, system architects, and product managers in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and lead adoption of emerging backend technologies and frameworks.
