A prominent financial institution in the UAE seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives across applications, data, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of IT Project Management experience, particularly in financial services, and be proficient in Agile delivery. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on quality assurance and stakeholder engagement.
Are you a results-driven Senior IT Project Manager with deep experience in financial services and investment management? We are currently supporting a prominent financial institution in identifying a highly capable professional to join their Technology team and lead strategic initiatives across application, data, and infrastructure domains. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of IT projects across enterprise and investment platforms. • Develop project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies. • Manage cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, vendors, and third-party consultants. • Oversee project procurement processes including RFPs, RFQs, agreements, renewals, and budget control. • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, compliance protocols, and business objectives. • Facilitate project documentation, governance reporting, and stakeholder communications. • Collaborate with other PMs to resolve conflicts in resources, priorities, and delivery timelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. • Agile certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe, CSM) with at least 3 years of Agile/Scrum delivery experience. • 10+ years of IT Project Management experience in financial services, with investment management experience preferred. • Strong experience in Application (Enterprise/Investment) delivery, including systems used by front, middle, or back-office teams. • Solid understanding of Data Analytics project management, cloud systems, and software development practices. • Familiarity with cybersecurity, networking, disaster recovery, and business continuity standards. Preferred Background • Experience working on the buy side (e.g., asset management firms, family offices, sovereign wealth funds). • OR experience in consulting, delivering investment or enterprise transformation projects for financial institutions. You Bring • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels, including senior executives. • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with attention to detail and quality assurance. • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to evolving business needs in a fast-paced environment.
