Job Description

Role: Senior IT Procurement Officer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Role Purpose

Act as Senior Buyer for IT category.

Key Responsibilities
  1. IT Procurement & Vendor Management:
    • Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle related to the Information Technology Department.
    • Handle RFQs/RFPs, vendor communication, negotiations, and vendor registration.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders for procurement plans and support vendor payments.
    • Utilize SAP Ariba effectively for procurement activities.
    • Maintain proper vendor communication and adhere to VMCP policies.
    • Provide process improvement suggestions and act as SME in meetings.
  2. Financial & Contract Management:
    • Lead contract drafting, review, and execution.
    • Maintain the Contract Database and ensure proper archiving.
  3. Additional Tasks:
    • Assist internal customers and perform related tasks (meetings, reports, etc.).
    • Maintain controls and keep the Department Head informed of issues.
  4. Skills & Experience:
    • IT procurement experience or IT professional background.
    • Preferred CIPS qualification or active membership.
    • Banking sector experience is advantageous.
