Job summary

Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) is seeking an experienced IT Service Desk professional to lead around-the-clock support for applications, OS, devices, and connectivity. You will coordinate with end users and IT teams to ensure uptime and SLA adherence.

The role emphasizes on-site support, incident resolution, documentation, and collaboration with Cybersecurity to maintain a secure, reliable IT environment across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
• On-site support, network maintenance, troubleshooting and debugging of infrastructure and applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 24/7 IT service desk operations and monitor SLAs.
• Maintain application uptime and collaborate with end users and admins.
• Resolve first-level escalations on tickets for apps, OS, devices, and connectivity.
• Implement and monitor best practices to ensure reliable IT service delivery.
• Update documentation of installation and configuration procedures.
• Ensure OS patches delivery in desktops and laptops in SLA with the team.
• Manage team performance and upskill the next generation technologies.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to implement controls and ensure policy compliance.
