Job summary

KIRIN NOVA REAL ESTATE L.L.C S.O.C in United Arab Emirates is seeking a Senior Intellectual Property Specialist for a fully remote, full-time position. The role focuses on managing IP portfolios, coordinating filings, and protecting patents, trademarks, and copyrights while aligning with business goals.

The candidate will work with legal counsel, R&D, and business leaders to mitigate IP risks, handle licensing and tech transfers, and ensure compliance across UAE and international jurisdictions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Extensive experience in IP portfolio management and patent/trademark services.
• Strong knowledge of IP principles across patents, trademarks, and designs.
• Experience with UAE and international IP registration processes.
• Experience coordinating with external counsel and licensing activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage IP portfolios across patents, trademarks, and designs.
• Coordinate filing, prosecution, renewals with external counsel.
• Monitor deadlines and milestones for IP assets.
• Conduct preliminary IP searches and freedom-to-operate assessments.
• Review licensing agreements, assignments, and confidentiality docs.
• Support IP protection strategies aligned with goals.
• Identify IP infringement risks and enforcement strategies.
• Prepare portfolio reports and risk assessments.
• Provide guidance on IP administration to junior staff.
• Stay updated on IP law changes and industry trends.
