Job summary

Saba IP in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a driven business development professional to identify and secure client opportunities in trademarks, copyrights, patents and industrial designs.

You will meet with clients regularly, upsell existing accounts, tailor IP strategies, respond to proposals and maintain strong relationship management across a defined client list. This role requires 1-2 years corporate experience and fluency in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• University degree required in Law, Business or a similar field.
• 1-2 years of relevant corporate work experience.
• Very good communication skills in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Prospects and secures new business for trademarks, copyrights, patents and industrial designs in the UAE and beyond.
• Meets on a regular basis with clients and prospect clients.
• Upsells and cross-sells to existing clients.
• Prepares intellectual property strategies tailored to targeted clients.
• Responds to Requests for Proposals, drafts and prepares proposals, and communicates with clients regularly.
• Reports business intelligence.
• Relationship management of new and existing accounts.
• Handles tasks and operations related to a specific list of clients.
