Job Purpose:
The Senior Investment Associate plays a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities across various asset classes (e.g., venture capital, private equity, public markets). This role involves conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and supporting strategic investment decisions aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and recommend investment opportunities in line with the fund's mandate and strategy
- Lead financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment memos for IC (Investment Committee) approval
- Conduct thorough due diligence, including market, operational, financial, and legal reviews
- Monitor portfolio performance, prepare periodic updates, and support value-creation initiatives with portfolio companies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, finance, other verticals) and external partners (e.g., co-investors, advisors)
- Support strategic fundraising activities, investor reporting, and communications
- Stay updated on market trends, economic outlooks, and sector developments relevant to investment theses
- Mentor junior analysts/associates and contribute to continuous improvement of investment processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field
- MBA, CFA, or other relevant post-graduate qualification is a strong advantage
Experience Requirements:
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, asset management, or a similar investment-focused role
- Demonstrated track record in end-to-end deal execution, financial due diligence, and portfolio monitoring
- Strong understanding of investment instruments (e.g., SAFEs, convertible notes, equity, debt) and transaction structures
- Exposure to sectors such as technology, healthcare, infrastructure, or education is an asset
- Experience working with or within institutional investors, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, or university-affiliated funds is a plus

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior stakeholders
- Project management capability and ability to lead cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong ethical judgment, discretion, and ability to manage confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data platforms (e.g., PitchBook, Bloomberg, Capital IQ)
