Job summary

Astra ProMed in Sharjah, UAE, invites a Specialist Interventional Cardiologist to join our leading facility. You will diagnose, treat, and manage coronary artery disease with catheter-based interventions and advanced imaging support.

The role requires extensive experience in PCI, coronary angiography, and complex interventional treatments, with MOHAP licensing eligibility and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate training in Internal Medicine with subspecialty in Cardiology.
• Fellowship or advanced subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology.
• Board certification or equivalent specialist qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for cardiovascular diseases.
• Perform diagnostic coronary angiography and cardiac catheterization within privileges.
• Conduct PCI, including angioplasty and stent implantation.
• Manage ACS, MI, and unstable angina; participate in primary PCI for STEMI when available.
• Coordinate with cardiothoracic surgery as needed; manage peri-procedural complications.
