Qualifications

• Board certification in Cardiology and fellowship or subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology.
• Tier 1 qualifications (ABMS, RCC, UK CCT/CCST, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years post-specialisation experience in Interventional Cardiology.
• Eligibility for Consultant licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular diseases.
• Perform advanced interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angiography and PCI.
• Manage complex coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndromes, and high-risk cardiac cases.
• Interpret cardiac investigations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care and follow-up.

About the Role

We are seeking a distinguished Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing complex cardiovascular conditions. The successful candidate will provide advanced cardiac care services, utilizing state-of-the-art interventional techniques, evidence-based treatment strategies, and clinical expertise to deliver high-quality, patient-centred cardiovascular care. The successful candidate will join a progressive healthcare environment committed to clinical excellence, advanced cardiac services, and improving outcomes for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with cardiovascular diseases
• Perform advanced interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Manage complex coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndromes, and high-risk cardiac cases
• Interpret cardiac investigations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide pre-procedure evaluation and post-procedure follow-up care
• Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Support medical education, training, and departmental development

Qualifications

• Board certification in Cardiology with fellowship or subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology
• Recognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-specialisation experience in Interventional Cardiology
• Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP
