Job summary

The candidate will perform PCI, angiography, and complex catheter-based procedures, while driving patient care, governance, and collaborative multidisciplinary work in a DHA-compliant environment.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent recognised medical degree.
• Postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty training in Cardiology.
• Fellowship or advanced training in Interventional Cardiology.
• Board certification or equivalent consultant-level qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and management of coronary artery disease and complex cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform diagnostic coronary angiography and cardiac catheterization within privileges.
• Conduct PCI with stent implantation and angioplasty.
• Manage acute coronary syndromes and high-risk cardiac patients.
• Perform emergency coronary interventions, including primary PCI for STEMI when indicated.
• Evaluate and manage complex interventional cases and coordinate referrals for surgery.
