Job summary

al-majid in Dubai seeks an accomplished Project Manager to lead interior fit-out ventures from scope to handover. You will supervise on-site execution, manage design coordination, procurement, and cost control, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

You will review drawings, approve material requisitions, coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers, and steer the bidding, submittal approvals, and progress reporting to achieve timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of interior fit-out project experience in UAE/GCC.
• Experience managing high-end commercial, hospitality, retail, residential & office fit-outs.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out construction methods and finishes.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of UAE standards, authorities, and HSE regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 / MS Project is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire project management plan including scope, procurement, production, design, and cost control.
• Monitor on-site execution to ensure timely handover within approved design and quality standards.
• Examine drawings, approve material requisitions, and facilitate purchases.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers on contractual and commercial issues.
• Oversee quotes, vendor technical reviews, and submittal approvals.
• Direct planning, production, and installation programs.
• Conduct quality checks to meet client specs and health & safety regs.
• Lead project teams and coordinate with clients, site teams, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
• Review invoices from subcontractors based on work performed.
