Job summary

Juma Al Majid Holding Group in Dubai seeks a Fitout Site Engineer to supervise interior fit-out activities across commercial, hospitality, residential, retail, and office projects. You will manage subcontractors, review drawings, monitor progress, and ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering or related degree, 4–8 years of UAE/GCC experience in high-end fit-out, and proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project or Primavera P6, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• 4–8 years of interior fit-out experience in UAE/GCC.
• Experience on high-end commercial, hospitality, residential, retail, and office fit-out projects.
• Proficient in interpreting architectural, joinery, and MEP drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute daily site activities for interior fit-out projects.
• Ensure works follow approved shop drawings and project specs.
• Coordinate site activities with subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Review drawings to ensure proper execution and resolve issues.
• Prepare work schedules and monitor progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections for quality and safety.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely materials delivery.
• Monitor labour productivity and optimize resources.
• Attend coordination meetings and report progress to the Project Manager.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Verify site measurements and prepare material requisitions.
• Manage snagging, inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate with consultants for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and HSE standards.
• Assist in resolving site-related technical issues and corrective actions.
