Senior Interior Designer

SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER - DUBAI

We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer for our client, a hospitality design consultancy based in Dubai. The successful candidate will oversee the design and supervision of interior spaces, collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements, develop innovative design concepts, manage project timelines and budgets, and lead a team of project designers while coordinating with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assist the Head/Associate of Interior Design and/or the Managing Director with project execution and ad hoc tasks, focusing on the creative and concept development process.
2. Develop full pre-concept and concept presentations with minimal guidance.
3. Drive the development of narrations and interior design concepts.
4. Ensure all deadlines, budgets, and schedules are met, reporting issues promptly to senior management.
5. Participate in 3 to 5 projects simultaneously, leading at least 2 projects during pre-concept or concept phases.
6. Implement initiatives to enhance company libraries, standards, and materials.
7. Improve QAQC processes and their implementation within the company.
8. Coordinate all phases of design projects from initial sketches to final implementation.
9. Produce detailed floor plans, elevations, and specifications for construction and installation.
10. Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, negotiate with vendors, and manage procurement.
11. Conduct site visits to oversee installation and ensure quality control.
12. Supervise junior and interior designers to ensure project execution.
13. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and team members to promote a positive company image.
14. Stay updated on design trends, technologies, and industry standards to deliver innovative solutions.

Ideal candidate:

1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
2. Extensive experience with REVIT.
3. A strong portfolio demonstrating leadership in innovative, high-profile projects.
4. A keen eye for design, color, and spatial arrangements, with meticulous attention to detail.
5. Understanding of materials, aesthetics, and ability to lead creatively.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
7. Experience working in the MENA and European markets, with knowledge of local standards and regulations.
8. Extensive experience supervising technical and junior designers.

Salary package:

• AED 20K-25K per month
