A leading company in the oil & gas sector is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer with over 5 years of experience. The role entails preparing specifications, supporting system integration, and ensuring compliance with international standards. Ideal candidates will hold a degree in Instrumentation Engineering and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

Control system architecture and interface diagrams
Prepare procurement specifications for field instruments, control valves, and packages.
Interface with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, process, civil) to integrate instrumentation systems.
Support DCS/PLC/SCADA system integration and control narrative development.
Review and interpret P&IDs, cause and effect diagrams, and functional design specifications.
Participate in HAZOP, SIL studies, and risk assessments.
Provide technical support during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases.
Ensure all design work is compliant with international codes and standards (e.g., IEC, ISA, API, ATEX, NEC, etc.).
Coordinate with vendors and clients for technical clarification and approvals.
Qualifications
Bachelor s Degreein Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent.
5+ yearsof relevant experience in instrumentation design within the oil & gas sector (onshore/offshore).
Proficiency in software tools such as SPI (INtools), AutoCAD, and 3D model review tools (e.g., Navisworks).
Familiar with industry standards and best practices.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
