Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Designer to lead 3D modeling, detailed drawings, and coordination across disciplines, ensuring clash-free designs and compliance with project procedures.

You will develop instrument scope drawings, wiring layouts, and related deliverables, supporting proposals and execution while working under MDR guidelines and project schedules in a high-safety oil&gas context.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with a diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Design or Drafting
• 6 years minimum with a major contractor or consultant, oil and gas experience
• Detailed knowledge of 2D/3D drafting systems (AutoCAD and MicroStation)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop high-quality 3D models and 2D drawings with clash-free coordination
• Ensure deliverables meet project specs, MDR procedures, and schedules
• Interface with disciplines to develop clash-free designs and resolve data issues
• Maintain discipline master design files and conduct design verifications
