Job summary

McDermott is looking for a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer in Dubai, UAE. The candidate will lead instrumentation design and execution for major offshore and onshore EPC projects across the oil and energy industry.

This role focuses on ensuring safe and reliable project delivery through detailed engineering design, technical reviews, and multidisciplinary coordination. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in automation and process safety with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical, or offshore EPC projects.
• Experience with FEED, detailed engineering, and multidisciplinary project execution.
• Deep knowledge of instrumentation systems, process control, automation, and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual, FEED, studies, and detailed engineering design for instrumentation and control systems.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, technical reports, and discipline design documentation.
• Lead small projects or act as area lead with responsibility for engineering deliverables.
