Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is seeking a seasoned Instrumentation/Control engineer to provide technical expertise across engineering subjects and ensure quality design execution. You will coordinate with Technical Departments, Operations, and contractors to resolve issues and align with standards.

The role requires preparing scopes of work, reviewing drawings, applying advanced design methods, and supporting procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Control Engineering
8 years of experience in Instrument / Electronics / Control Engineering
Strong technical and design review capabilities
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and contractors

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise on Instrument/ Control Engineering and design.
Coordinate with Technical Departments, Operations and contractors to resolve issues and ensure quality design execution.
Prepare scope of work for external consultants and EPC contractors.
Review drawings, specifications and documents for Instrumentation and Controls.
Perform design validation and optimization calculations.
Apply state-of-the-art technology for cost-effective solutions and engineering guidelines.
Provide input for procedures, standards and engineering guidelines.
Liaise with other discipline engineers to manage interfaces and provide technical authority.
Conduct authority reviews and manage deviations to company specs.
Plan, supervise and develop staff; contribute to budgets and performance objectives.
